Aus Marine Craft respects your right to request deletion of personal information related to your interaction with our official business channels, including Facebook and Instagram comments or customer enquiries.
This page explains how to request deletion of data associated with your Facebook or Instagram interaction with Aus Marine Craft.
Data You Can Ask Us To Delete
You may request deletion of data that Aus Marine Craft holds in relation to your interaction with our official Facebook, Instagram, website, or customer communication channels, including:
- Facebook or Instagram public comment records processed by Aus Marine Craft
- Public social media username or profile name associated with the interaction
- Comment text or post context stored in Aus Marine Craft internal workflow records
- Customer service notes or audit records linked to the interaction, where deletion is legally and operationally permitted
- Enquiry details you provided directly to Aus Marine Craft

Information To Include
To help us locate the relevant data, please include as much of the following information as possible:
- Your name
- Platform, such as Facebook or Instagram
- Username or profile name
- Comment link, post link, or screenshot if available
- Approximate date of the interaction
- Contact email
- A short description of the data you want deleted
Please do not send sensitive identity documents unless we specifically request them for verification.
What Happens After You Submit a Request
After receiving your request, Aus Marine Craft will review the information provided and take reasonable steps to identify the relevant records.
Aus Marine Craft will process valid deletion requests within a reasonable time, subject to legal, security, operational, audit, or dispute-resolution requirements.
If we need more information to identify the relevant data, we may contact you using the details provided in your request.
Data Stored on Facebook or Instagram
If your comment or content remains visible on Facebook or Instagram, you may also delete it directly through your Facebook or Instagram account.
Aus Marine Craft can delete data stored in its own internal systems where appropriate, but content hosted by Meta may also need to be managed through Facebook or Instagram tools.
Limits on Deletion
Some information may need to be retained where required for legal compliance, fraud prevention, business records, dispute resolution, security, or audit obligations.
Where full deletion is not possible, Aus Marine Craft may limit access, de-identify, or retain only the minimum information required.
